The Myth of a Perfect Design
Perfection in design is not possible. You can never simultaneously satisfy all of the possible objectives for any creation. For example, a ballpoint pen is an excellent tool for writing, until you need to erase. Yet a pencil fails you when you need to sign a legal contract. Every design choice trades one idea of perfection against another.
